About The Position

The Delivery Driver delivers products by car to customers’ doors and distributes flyers and door hangers. Drivers deliver within a designated area and may make several deliveries per shift. The role also includes the general duties of hourly store team members, such as operating equipment, stocking ingredients and supplies, preparing products, processing telephone orders, taking inventory, completing paperwork, and cleaning equipment and the facility. On-the-job orientation and training are provided.

Requirements

Valid driver’s license and a safe driving record meeting company standards.
Access to an insured vehicle that can be used for deliveries.
Navigational skills to read a map and locate addresses within the designated delivery area.
Ability to navigate adverse terrain, including multistory buildings, private homes, and other delivery sites, while carrying products.
Ability to comprehend and provide correct written instructions and communicate verbally with customers and coworkers.
Ability to perform basic arithmetic accurately and quickly and make correct monetary change.
Ability to use a computer keyboard or touchscreen to enter orders.
Ability to stand, walk, carry products, and climb stairs, potentially five or more flights, while making deliveries.
Ability to lift and stock deliveries weighing up to 50 pounds.
