About The Position

Domino’s is hiring delivery drivers to serve customers in the designated delivery area. The role offers a flexible schedule and opportunities for advancement, including progression into management or franchise ownership. On-the-job orientation and training are provided. In addition to delivery duties, team members perform general store tasks, including operating equipment, stocking ingredients and supplies, preparing products, receiving and processing orders, taking inventory, completing paperwork, and cleaning equipment and the facility. The position involves working in a range of indoor temperatures and weather conditions, as well as handling food, equipment, and supplies.

Requirements

Must be at least 18 years old.
Must have a valid driver's license and a safe driving record that meets company standards.
Must have access to an insured vehicle that can be used for delivery.
Must be able to read maps, locate addresses within the delivery area, and navigate adverse terrain, including multi-story buildings.
Ability to comprehend and give correct written instructions and communicate verbally with customers and co-workers.
Ability to perform basic arithmetic accurately and quickly, make correct monetary change, and use a calculator if needed.
Verbal, writing, and telephone skills to take and process orders.
Ability to enter orders using a computer keyboard or touch screen.
Motor coordination and hand-eye coordination to make rapid, accurate movements and handle work tools.
Ability to direct activities, perform repetitive tasks, work independently and with others, work under stress, meet quality standards, deal with people, analyze and compile data, and make judgments and decisions.
Ability to perform the described physical tasks, including standing, walking, bending, crouching, lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling, climbing, and frequent reaching and hand use.

Responsibilities

Deliver orders within the designated delivery area and locate addresses using navigational skills.
Operate store equipment and use a computer keyboard or touch screen to enter orders.
Stock ingredients and supplies from the delivery area to storage, work areas, and the walk-in cooler.
Prepare products and receive and process telephone orders, both over the phone and in person.
Take inventory and complete associated paperwork.
Clean equipment and the facility approximately daily.
Unload bulk deliveries using a hand truck and move supplies to storage or shelves.
Perform other store tasks such as moving trays, changing prices on signs, washing walls, and performing maintenance as needed.
