Delivery Driver - Liverpool, NY
About The Position
Green Mountain Electric Supply is hiring a full-time Delivery Driver at its Liverpool, New York branch. The driver is an important link in the customer service chain and represents the company to customers. The role supports the business by building customer loyalty through professional communication and accurate, safe, and timely delivery of customer orders. Drivers are expected to interact professionally with customers, coworkers, and the general public and maintain a clean appearance. The schedule is Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM, with a 30-minute lunch break. The position includes regular interaction with customers and requires lifting and moving items of varying weights. A personal cell phone is needed for occasional use.
Requirements
- Valid driver's license.
- Clean motor vehicle record.
- Must be able to pass a DOT physical.
- Must regularly lift and/or move up to 10 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds, occasionally reach above the head while holding items up to 50 pounds, and occasionally lift and/or move up to 100 pounds.
- Must have a personal cell phone for occasional use.
- Must be highly motivated, learn quickly, be self-driven, and pay attention to detail.
Nice To Haves
- Experience driving a 26-foot box truck is preferred.
