About The Position

Domino’s Pizza is seeking delivery drivers to deliver products to customers within a designated area and perform general store team-member duties. The role offers a flexible schedule and opportunities for advancement, including potential progression into management. On-the-job orientation and training are provided. Drivers deliver products by car to customers’ doors and may also deliver flyers and door hangers. They need to navigate to addresses, including multi-story buildings and other delivery sites, and carry products while walking or climbing. General store duties may include operating equipment, stocking ingredients, preparing products, taking and processing orders, completing inventory paperwork, and cleaning equipment and the facility. The work involves standing for most tasks, frequent reaching and hand use, and occasional lifting and carrying of supplies. Drivers may encounter adverse weather and varying temperatures, food odors, cornmeal dust, hot surfaces, sharp edges, and moving mechanical parts. Delivery duties may require driving at night and climbing five or more flights of stairs.

Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age.
Have a valid driver's license and a safe driving record meeting company standards.
Have access to an insured vehicle that can be used for delivery.
Have navigational skills to read a map and locate addresses within the designated delivery area.
Be able to navigate adverse terrain, including multi-story buildings and other delivery sites, while carrying products.
Be able to comprehend and provide correct written instructions and communicate verbally with customers and co-workers.
Be able to perform basic arithmetic accurately and make correct monetary change.
Have verbal, writing, and telephone skills to take and process orders.
Be able to enter orders using a computer keyboard or touch screen.
Be able to meet the physical demands of the work, including carrying products and navigating stairs.

Responsibilities

Deliver products by car to customers’ doors within a designated delivery area.
Deliver flyers and door hangers.
Navigate to addresses, including multi-story buildings, private homes, and other delivery sites.
Carry pizzas and beverages while walking between the store, delivery vehicle, and customer locations.
Operate store equipment and stock ingredients from the delivery area to storage and work areas.
Prepare products and receive and process telephone orders.
Take inventory and complete associated paperwork.
Clean equipment and the facility approximately daily.
