About The Position

The Delivery Driver is responsible for delivering food orders to customers. This role requires a valid driver's license, a safe driving record with at least two years of driving history, and access to an insured vehicle for deliveries. The driver must be able to navigate efficiently using maps and apps, locate addresses within the designated delivery area, and handle multi-story buildings and adverse terrain. In addition to driving, general job duties include operating equipment, stocking ingredients, preparing products, receiving and processing phone orders, completing paperwork, and daily cleaning. Strong communication skills, including verbal and written comprehension, are essential for interacting with customers and coworkers, processing orders, and providing excellent customer service and service recovery.

Requirements

Must be 18 years of age.
Valid driver's license with a safe driving record.
2 years of driving history.
Access to an insured vehicle which can be used for delivery.
Possess navigational skills to read a map and utilize navigational apps.
Ability to locate addresses within designated delivery area.
Ability to navigate adverse terrain including multi-story buildings.
Ability to comprehend and give correct written instructions.
Ability to communicate verbally with customers and co-workers to process orders both over the phone and in person.
Great at customer services and service recovery.
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide accurately and quickly (may use calculator).
Must be able to make correct monetary change.
Verbal, writing, and telephone skills to take and process orders.
Motor coordination between eyes and hands/fingers to rapidly and accurately make precise movements with speed.
Ability to enter orders using a computer keyboard or touch screen.
