About The Position

The Delivery Driver delivers orders within a designated area and performs general store team member duties. The role offers a flexible schedule and may suit someone seeking a primary or supplemental job, with potential opportunities to grow into management. Drivers must use a reliable, insured vehicle that meets company standards and be able to navigate to addresses, including across adverse terrain and in multi-story buildings. Team members also operate store equipment, stock ingredients, prepare products, take and process orders, and clean equipment and the facility.

Requirements

Must be at least 18 years old.
Valid driver's license and safe driving record.
Reliable vehicle that meets company standards and access to an insured vehicle for deliveries.
Navigational skills to read maps and locate addresses within the designated delivery area.
Ability to navigate adverse terrain, including multi-story buildings.
Ability to understand and provide correct written instructions.
Verbal, writing, and telephone skills to take and process orders.
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide accurately and quickly; a calculator may be used.
Ability to make correct monetary change.
Motor coordination to make precise, rapid movements with the eyes, hands, and fingers.
Ability to perform the physical tasks described, including continuous reaching and hand use, bending, occasional crouching or squatting, and forceful hand and wrist activities.

Responsibilities

Deliver orders within the designated delivery area.
Operate store equipment.
Stock ingredients from the delivery area to storage, work areas, and the walk-in cooler.
Prepare products.
Receive and process telephone orders.
Clean equipment and the facility approximately daily.
Read maps and locate delivery addresses, including navigating adverse terrain and multi-story buildings.
Communicate with customers and co-workers to process orders by phone and in person.
Enter orders using a computer keyboard or touch screen.
Handle monetary transactions and make correct change.
