Delivery Driver - Uptown Location
About The Position
Pizza Lucé is hiring a delivery driver for its Uptown location. The role delivers guest orders accurately, safely, courteously, and on time while providing excellent customer service. Drivers handle payments and coupons according to procedures and work with teammates between deliveries on tasks such as packing cold bags, folding boxes, attaching flyers, and answering phones. The position offers $16.37 per hour plus driver reimbursement per mile and tips. The schedule includes weekends, and evening availability and late-night closing shifts are required. Pizza Lucé offers on-the-job training and development in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
Requirements
- Must be over 18 years of age.
- Must own a vehicle.
- Must have a valid driver's license, a clean driving record, and valid insurance meeting the company's minimum requirements.
- Must speak English.
- Must be available evenings and weekends, including late-night closing shifts.
- Must be able to work reliably without supervision.
- Must be able to lift 50 pounds.
- Must be comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
- Must be able to use GPS or other navigation tools.
Nice To Haves
- Delivery driver experience is preferred.
- Previous customer service experience is preferred.
- Knowledge of the surrounding areas is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Deliver guest orders accurately, safely, courteously, and in a timely manner.
- Handle credit cards, cash, gift cards, gift certificates, and coupons according to proper procedures.
- Collaborate with co-workers to provide guests with an excellent customer service experience.
- Support teammates between deliveries by packing cold bags, folding boxes, attaching flyers to boxes, answering phones, and performing related tasks.
