About The Position

IWI Auto Parts, a division of Parts Authority, is seeking Delivery Drivers for their Davenport, IA location. This is a newly created career opportunity with a company vehicle provided. The Delivery Driver is a key contact with customers, responsible for fostering strong client relationships. Parts Authority is a rapidly growing Supply Chain company with a history of over 50 years, offering promotable career advancement and job stability. Requirements

Current, valid driver's license.
Must be able to meet company insurance requirements (drivers must be 21 years old or over).
Current valid automobile insurance with your name on the policy.
Ability to lift, move, push, and pull up to 50 pounds.
Ability to handle prolonged sitting.
Auto Body Parts Collision Drivers must be able to lift 75 lbs.
Ability to manage, track, and account for money transactions and reconcile customer credit and debt balances.
Ability to utilize a tablet and/or mobile device for navigation/route optimization, tracking, and customer interface/signature capture.
Exceptional customer and verbal communication skills; ability to communicate effectively, professionally, with tact and diplomacy.
Ability to take and follow directions and work well with others as part of a team.

Nice To Haves

Flexible schedule with the ability to work overtime as needed.
Previous delivery driving experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

Pick up and drop off automotive parts, adhering to assigned routes and time schedules.
Ensure orders are properly fulfilled.
Foster strong client relationships and provide excellent customer service.
Load, transport, and deliver items to customers or businesses in a timely, friendly, and courteous manner.
Review orders before and after delivery to ensure completeness and accuracy of charges.
Take and follow directions from dispatcher, adhere to assigned routes, and use route navigation apps.
Assist with loading and unloading items from vehicles.
Answer customer questions and professionally handle complaints and concerns.
Abide by all transportation laws and maintain a safe driving record.
Accept payments, prepare reports including invoices, return forms, and reconcile debt and credit.
Complete daily maintenance checks on the company delivery vehicle and notify the manager of any issues.
Assist with other store/warehouse duties such as stocking and parts pulling as assigned.
Maintain and promote workplace safety.
Secure and transfer cash or other assets.
