About The Position
Delivery Drivers deliver customer orders safely and efficiently, representing the company professionally and supporting customer satisfaction. In addition to delivering orders, the role includes store and customer-service duties such as preparing food, washing dishes, folding boxes, and sweeping and mopping floors. During free time, drivers may answer phone calls, take orders, handle money, ensure order labels are placed on the correct boxes, and assist walk-in and drive-through customers. A background check and driving motor vehicle record (MVR) check are required for eligibility.
Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years old.
- Must have a valid driver’s license and a safe driving record.
- Must have held a driver’s license for at least two years.
- Must provide vehicle registration and auto insurance that includes delivery coverage.
- Basic math skills for making change.
- Basic navigation skills.
- Must work well with other team members and management.
- Must pass a background check and driving MVR check for eligibility.
Responsibilities
- Deliver orders from the store to customers’ doors in a safe and efficient manner.
- Greet customers and provide strong customer service when delivering orders.
- Load, unload, prepare, inspect, and operate the vehicle.
- Collect payments and make change.
- Inform customers about new products and services.
- Wash dishes, fold boxes, prepare food for the day’s usage, and sweep and mop floors.
- During free time, answer phone calls, take orders, handle money, ensure order labels are placed on the correct boxes, and help walk-in and drive-through customers.
