About The Position

The Delivery Driver delivers orders within a designated delivery area while providing customer service. The role also includes general store-team duties, such as operating equipment, stocking ingredients, preparing products, processing telephone orders, completing paperwork, and cleaning designated items. Compensation is stated as an average of $16–$24 per hour, including tips and mileage; actual averages vary by location, shift, and number of deliveries. Pay is weekly, and tips and mileage are paid daily.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Must have a valid driver's license and a safe driving record meeting company standards.
• Must have at least two years of driving history.
• Must have access to an insured vehicle that can be used for delivery.
• Must be able to read maps and use navigation apps to locate addresses within the delivery area.
• Must be able to navigate adverse terrain, including multi-story buildings.
• Ability to understand and provide correct written instructions.
• Ability to communicate verbally with customers and coworkers.
• Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide accurately and quickly; a calculator may be used.
• Must be able to make correct monetary change.
• Verbal, writing, and telephone skills to take and process orders.
• Motor coordination between eyes and hands or fingers to make precise movements rapidly and accurately.
• Ability to enter orders using a computer keyboard or touch screen.

Responsibilities

• Deliver orders within the designated delivery area and locate customer addresses using maps or navigation apps.
• Provide customer service, including service recovery when needed.
• Operate all equipment.
• Stock ingredients from the delivery area to storage, the work area, and the walk-in cooler.
• Prepare products as needed.
• Receive and process telephone orders as needed.
• Complete associated paperwork.
• Clean designated items daily.
• Communicate with customers and coworkers to process orders in person and over the phone.
• Handle monetary transactions and make correct change.
• Enter orders using a computer keyboard or touch screen.
