About The Position
Continental Battery Systems is seeking a career-minded, energetic, customer-focused Delivery Driver I to support delivery operations and contribute to profitable sales of company products and services. The role focuses on safely delivering a high-quality customer experience, building strong customer relationships, and educating customers about products and services. The position pays $22; the posting does not specify the pay period or currency. The driver delivers products, picks up used batteries, and maintains and replenishes customer consignment products. The role also involves planning efficient routes, ensuring vehicles are accurately and safely stocked, assisting with loading and unloading, preparing shipments, and maintaining an orderly, safe, and clean warehouse. The schedule is daytime, Monday through Friday, with occasional weekends if needed.
Responsibilities
- Safely deliver products and provide a high-quality customer experience.
- Support profitable sales of company products and services and build strong customer relationships.
- Understand company products and educate customers about products promoted monthly.
- Identify opportunities to expand customers’ use of company products and services.
- Deliver products, pick up used batteries, and maintain and replenish customer consignment products.
- Plan efficient delivery routes and ensure vehicles are properly, accurately, and safely stocked.
- Assist with loading and unloading vehicles.
- Prepare shipments and help keep the warehouse orderly, safe, and clean.
- Label products and perform inventory cycle counts and complete counts.
