About The Position

Continental Battery Systems is seeking an energetic, customer-focused, and collaborative Delivery Driver I to support its delivery and warehouse operations. The role focuses on safely delivering a high-quality customer experience and helping increase profitable sales of company products and services. The position is approximately 70% driving and 30% warehouse duties, with daytime hours Monday through Friday and occasional weekends if needed. The stated pay maximum is $23 per hour.

Requirements

• Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record.
• Ability to regularly lift and move batteries weighing 50–75 pounds, with or without reasonable accommodation.
• Strong organizational, communication, and customer service skills.
• Ability to work independently with productivity and accuracy.
• Reliability, punctuality, professionalism, and a strong work ethic.
• Ability to manage multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced environment.
• Commitment to workplace safety, proper battery handling, and company procedures.
• Willingness to assist with all aspects of daily warehouse and delivery operations.

Nice To Haves

• Previous experience in delivery driving, warehouse operations, or distribution.
• Forklift and pallet jack experience.
• Knowledge of automotive, commercial, and industrial batteries.
• Experience with inventory control, order fulfillment, and shipping and receiving.

Responsibilities

• Safely deliver products and pick up used batteries.
• Maintain and replenish customer consignment products.
• Plan efficient delivery routes and ensure vehicle stock is accurate, properly staged, and safe.
• Assist with loading and unloading vehicles.
• Load and offload vehicles, prepare shipments, and help keep the warehouse orderly, safe, and clean.
• Label products and perform inventory cycle counts and complete counts.
• Learn about company products and educate customers about products promoted monthly.
• Identify opportunities to help customers by expanding their use of company products and services.
• Deliver a high-quality customer experience and help create loyal, enthusiastic customers.
• Assist with all aspects of daily warehouse and delivery operations.
