Operations - Delivery Driver I - Class X
About The Position
Continental Battery Systems is seeking an energetic, customer-focused Delivery Driver I to safely deliver a high-quality customer experience and support profitable sales of company products and services. This role combines delivery driving with warehouse work. The driver delivers products, picks up used batteries, maintains customer consignment products, and helps ensure accurate, safe vehicle stocking and efficient routes. Warehouse duties include loading and unloading vehicles, preparing shipments, maintaining a clean and orderly warehouse, labeling products, and performing inventory counts. The position has daytime hours, Monday through Friday, with occasional weekends as needed. Pay is up to $21.50 per hour.
Responsibilities
- Safely deliver a high-quality customer experience and help increase profitable sales of company products and services.
- Build and maintain positive customer relationships.
- Know the products carried and educate customers about products promoted monthly.
- Identify opportunities to help customers expand their use of company products and services.
- Deliver products and pick up used batteries.
- Maintain and replenish customer consignment products.
- Plan efficient delivery routes and ensure the vehicle is properly and accurately staged and safely stocked.
- Assist with loading and unloading vehicles.
- Prepare shipments and help keep the warehouse orderly, safe, and clean.
- Label products and perform inventory cycle counts and complete counts.
