About The Position

Domino's is hiring Delivery Drivers to deliver orders within the designated area and help with in-store tasks as needed, including food preparation and cleaning. Drivers must be at least 18, hold a valid driver's license, have qualifying U.S. driving history, and use a registered, insured vehicle on whose insurance policy they are listed. The position pays $20.00 per hour, plus tips and mileage. On-the-job orientation and training are provided. The role may offer opportunities for advancement, including management and franchise ownership.

Requirements

Must be at least 18 years old.
Must have a valid driver's license and at least two years of licensed driving history in the United States, with documentation.
Must have an unsuspended or uninterrupted driving history of at least 1.5 years during the last two years; the suspension cannot be at the start of the two-year period.
Driving record must meet the stated limits: no more than one violation and one at-fault accident in the last two years; no more than two violations and one at-fault accident in the last three years; no more than three violations in the last three years; and no more than one at-fault accident in the last three years.
Must have no distracted or inattentive driving violations in the last three years and no serious violations in the past five years.
Must have access to a registered vehicle that meets safety standards and valid insurance; the driver must be listed on the vehicle's insurance policy.
Must have customer service and verbal communication skills to interact with customers and coworkers in person and by telephone.
Must be able to read a map, locate addresses, and navigate delivery routes and adverse terrain.
Must be able to comprehend and give correct written instructions.
Must be able to perform basic arithmetic accurately and quickly, make correct monetary change, and use a calculator if needed.
Must be able to enter orders using a computer keyboard or touch screen.
Must have motor coordination and eye-hand coordination to make precise movements quickly and accurately.
Must be able to work alone and with others, perform repetitive tasks, work under stress, meet quality standards, deal with people, analyze and compile data, and make judgments and decisions.
Must be available to work weekends and holidays; the posting states this is mandatory.
Must be able to meet the physical demands described, including standing, walking, lifting and carrying supplies up to 50 pounds, pushing or pulling trays, climbing stairs or a ladder occasionally, bending, crouching, reaching, and frequent hand use.

Responsibilities

Deliver orders to customers throughout the designated delivery area.
Navigate routes and delivery locations, including adverse terrain, multi-story buildings, private homes, and other delivery sites.
Assist with food preparation and other in-store work as needed.
Operate store equipment and stock ingredients and supplies in storage, work areas, and the walk-in cooler.
Receive and process telephone orders, including entering orders by keyboard or touch screen.
Take inventory and complete associated paperwork.
Clean equipment and the facility daily; remove trash and perform other outside tasks.
Unload ingredient and supply deliveries using a hand truck and move, carry, push, or pull products and trays as needed.
Be available to work weekends and holidays.
Ensure the vehicle used for business deliveries meets safety standards and pass periodic delivery vehicle inspections.
