About The Position

Domino’s Delivery Drivers deliver pizzas within a designated delivery area and provide friendly customer service. Drivers work on the road and help with in-store duties when not making deliveries. The company provides training in delivery tasks, pizza preparation, and other store operations. The role may offer opportunities to advance from delivery driver to management or franchise ownership.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Friendly, positive attitude and strong customer service skills.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Reliable vehicle for deliveries.
• Proof of car insurance.
• Safe driving record meeting company standards.
• Navigational skills to read a map, locate addresses within the designated delivery area, and navigate adverse terrain, including multi-story buildings.
• Ability to comprehend and provide correct written instructions.
• Ability to communicate verbally with customers and co-workers.
• Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide accurately and quickly; a calculator may be used.
• Ability to make correct monetary change.
• Verbal, writing, and telephone skills to take and process orders.
• Motor coordination between eyes and hands/fingers to make precise movements rapidly and accurately.
• Ability to enter orders using a computer keyboard or touch screen.
• Ability to direct activities, perform repetitive tasks, work alone and with others, work under stress, meet quality control standards, deal with people, analyze and compile data, and make judgments and decisions.
• Ability to differentiate between hot and cold surfaces.
• Physical ability to stand for most tasks; walk short distances for short durations; lift deliveries weighing up to 50 pounds; carry supplies; push or pull trays on dollies; occasionally climb stairs or a ladder; bend, crouch, squat, and reach; and use hands continuously during the day.
• Ability to shape pizza dough using frequent and forceful forearm and wrist movements.

Responsibilities

• Deliver pizzas within the designated delivery area; a team member may make several deliveries per shift.
• Operate all equipment.
• Stock ingredients from the delivery area to storage, work areas, and the walk-in cooler.
• Prepare products.
• Receive and process telephone orders.
• Take inventory and complete associated paperwork.
• Clean equipment and the facility approximately daily.
• Communicate with customers and co-workers to process orders over the phone and in person.
• Unload bulk product deliveries using a hand truck and move supplies to storage.
• Assist with other in-store tasks as needed.
