About The Position

Aaron’s Delivery Drivers help provide positive customer experiences in a fast-paced, store-based role. The work includes driving, installing, moving, and picking up merchandise, and demonstrating product use to customers. Drivers work both inside and outside the store, support day-to-day store operations, and interact with customers in the community.

The pay range is $15.25 to $16.00 per hour. Benefits vary based on full-time and part-time employment status.

Requirements

• Solid communication skills.
• Working knowledge of electronics.
• Uphold the Aaron’s brand and protect company assets.
• Desire to make a positive difference for customers.
• Be at least 21 years old for positions in the United States or at least 18 years old in Canada.
• Have a valid driver’s license and comply with the Company’s Driver Qualification Policy, including maintaining a satisfactory driving record.
• Be able to obtain DOT certification if required at the position’s location in the United States.
• Ability to work a schedule with hours varying from 8:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. independently and up to 300 lbs. with appropriate equipment and/or assistance from another associate.
• Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions, including rain and summer heat.

Nice To Haves

• Experience moving household furnishings and appliances.
• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent.

• Ability to maintain a professional appearance.

Responsibilities

• Stage, load, and appropriately secure products, and safely operate the company vehicle.
• Unload and install merchandise, and demonstrate merchandise to customers.
• Assist with cleaning and organizing merchandise within the store.
• Maintain accurate daily route sheets and weekly maintenance sheets.
• Support day-to-day store operations and connect with customers in the community.
