About The Position
Domino's Pizza is hiring delivery drivers to deliver products to customers within a designated delivery area. The role offers a flexible schedule and opportunities for career advancement, including management and franchise ownership. Drivers may also perform general store team-member duties, such as operating equipment, stocking ingredients, preparing products, processing telephone orders, taking inventory, completing paperwork, and cleaning equipment and the facility. On-the-job orientation and training are provided. Delivery duties include delivering products by car to customers' doors and distributing flyers and door hangers. Drivers must be able to navigate delivery locations, including adverse terrain and multi-story buildings, while carrying products. A team member may make several deliveries per shift.
Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Must have a valid driver's license and a safe driving record meeting company standards.
- Must have access to an insured vehicle that can be used for delivery.
- Must have navigational skills to read a map and locate addresses within the designated delivery area.
- Must be able to navigate adverse terrain, including multi-story buildings.
- Ability to comprehend and give correct written instructions.
- Ability to communicate verbally with customers and co-workers by telephone and in person.
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide accurately and quickly, and make correct monetary change.
- Verbal, writing, and telephone skills to take and process orders.
- Ability to enter orders using a computer keyboard or touch screen.
- Ability to perform the physical tasks described, including standing, walking, carrying, lifting, pushing, pulling, bending, reaching, and occasionally climbing stairs or a ladder.
- Ability to work alone and with others, perform repetitive tasks, work under stress, meet quality standards, and make judgments and decisions.
- Far and night vision for driving.
Responsibilities
- Deliver products by car to customers' doors within a designated delivery area.
- Deliver flyers and door hangers.
- Navigate delivery locations, including private homes, multi-story buildings, and other sites, while carrying products.
- Operate store equipment; stock ingredients; prepare products; receive and process telephone orders; take inventory; complete associated paperwork; and clean equipment and the facility.
- Use a computer keyboard or touch screen to enter orders and communicate with customers and co-workers to process orders.
- Unload bulk product deliveries using a hand truck and move supplies to storage and work areas.
