About The Position

As a Delivery Driver for Omnicare Pharmacy, you will deliver prescription orders and/or products to customers on a predetermined route and schedule using a company-provided vehicle. You will help ensure medication needs are met and regulatory standards are followed while maintaining ethical conduct and patient confidentiality. You will also use a customer-service mindset to manage assigned pharmacy workstations and tasks in support of timely, safe, and accurate prescription fulfillment.

The role delivers medications, equipment, products, and supplies to long-term care facilities or patients’ homes. It includes loading products and materials and maintaining the vehicle, including alerting management to maintenance issues. The position requires compliance with applicable laws and regulations, including HIPAA. No professional driving experience is required. Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• Geographical knowledge of the service area.
• Flexibility to work nights and weekends.
• Current, valid driver’s license in the state at the level required to operate the vehicle.
• Ability to drive for long periods.
• Customer-service orientation.

Nice To Haves

• Previous experience as a Delivery Driver.
• Previous driving experience as a limo driver, taxi or bus driver, courier, or gig-economy worker.
