About The Position
Join MBR Management’s delivery team at its Louisville location on Brownsboro Road. The Delivery Driver safely delivers products to customers, plans efficient routes, provides professional customer service, maintains accurate delivery records, and keeps the delivery vehicle clean and roadworthy. Drivers communicate with dispatch about route changes, delays, and customer concerns, meet delivery and performance goals, and represent the organization with a professional appearance, courteous behavior, and reliable attendance. The role requires access to a reliable, insured vehicle approved for commercial delivery use and the ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as needed.
Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years old and have a valid driver's license.
- At least 2 years of verifiable driving history.
- Must pass a Motor Vehicle Record Check meeting company-specific standards.
- Access to a reliable, insured vehicle approved for commercial delivery use.
- Excellent time management and organizational skills.
- Strong interpersonal and communication abilities.
- Demonstrated reliability, punctuality, and professional work ethic.
- Ability to regularly lift and carry packages weighing up to 50 pounds.
- Proficiency with GPS navigation systems and route planning tools.
- Basic vehicle maintenance knowledge and ability to perform minor troubleshooting.
- Customer-focused mindset and a positive, friendly attitude.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as needed.
- Valid proof of insurance for the personal vehicle used for delivery.
- Willingness to pass a criminal background check.
Responsibilities
- Safely operate a vehicle to deliver products throughout the Louisville area while following traffic laws and company safety protocols.
- Plan and execute efficient delivery routes to improve productivity and minimize delivery times.
- Provide friendly, professional customer service and respond to customer inquiries and concerns.
- Maintain accurate delivery records, including signatures, delivery confirmations, special instructions, and issues.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure the vehicle is safe and roadworthy.
- Handle products carefully and deliver them in good condition to the correct locations.
- Communicate with dispatch about route changes, delays, and customer concerns.
- Keep the vehicle interior and exterior clean and organized.
- Meet delivery targets and performance goals while upholding company standards and values.
- Represent the organization through professional appearance, courteous behavior, and reliable attendance.
