About The Position
Domino’s is hiring qualified drivers to deliver products from the store to customers. The role may suit someone seeking a main job, second job, or supplemental work, and offers a flexible schedule. Growth opportunities, including potential advancement to management, may be available. Orientation and training are provided on the job. Drivers deliver products by car and to customers’ doors, deliver flyers and door hangers, and may make several deliveries per shift. The role also includes general store team duties such as operating equipment, stocking ingredients, preparing products, processing telephone orders, taking inventory, completing paperwork, and cleaning the equipment and facility.
Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Must have a valid driver's license and a safe driving record meeting company standards.
- Must have access to an insured vehicle that can be used for delivery.
- Ability to comprehend and provide correct written instructions and communicate verbally with customers and co-workers in person and over the phone.
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide accurately and quickly, and make correct monetary change.
- Verbal, writing, and telephone skills to take and process orders.
- Motor coordination to make precise movements rapidly and accurately, and ability to enter orders using a computer keyboard or touch screen.
- Navigational skills to read a map and locate addresses within the delivery area.
- Ability to navigate adverse terrain and carry products while walking and climbing, including potentially climbing five or more flights of stairs.
- Ability to direct activities, perform repetitive tasks, work alone and with others, work under stress, meet quality control standards, deal with people, analyze and compile data, and make judgments and decisions.
Responsibilities
- Deliver products by car to customers’ doors within a designated delivery area.
- Deliver flyers and door hangers.
- Operate store equipment and stock ingredients from the delivery area to storage, work areas, and the walk-in cooler.
- Prepare products and receive and process telephone orders.
- Take inventory and complete associated paperwork.
- Clean equipment and the facility approximately daily.
- Navigate delivery locations, including multi-story buildings, private homes, and other sites.
