About The Position

This role involves operating equipment, stocking ingredients, preparing products, taking phone orders, and maintaining cleanliness. Training is provided on the job. The position requires strong communication skills for interacting with customers and coworkers, both verbally and in writing. Essential functions include accurate mathematical calculations for transactions, order processing via computer or touchscreen, and precise hand-eye coordination for rapid, accurate movements. The work environment includes exposure to varying weather conditions, in-store temperature fluctuations, food odors, dust, cramped spaces, hot surfaces, sharp edges, and moving mechanical parts. Sensory requirements include talking and hearing on the phone, near and mid-range vision, depth perception, and differentiating hot/cold surfaces. Temperaments needed include the ability to direct activities, perform repetitive tasks, work alone or with others, work under stress, meet quality standards, deal with people, analyze data, and make decisions. Physical demands include prolonged standing, walking, lifting up to 60 pounds, carrying, pushing, occasional climbing of stairs or ladders, stooping/bending, crouching/squatting, and continuous reaching. Hand tasks require eye-hand coordination, including shaping dough, using a pizza peel and cutter, and pinching to assemble boxes. Tools and equipment may include pencils, pens, computers, telephones, calculators, TDD equipment, pizza cutters, and pizza peels. Additionally, the role requires delivering products by car to customer doors, distributing marketing materials, and possessing navigational skills to read maps and locate addresses within a designated delivery area. This includes navigating multi-story buildings and various delivery sites while carrying product. Physical demands for delivery include carrying pizzas, sides, and beverages, driving within a designated area, and walking to and from the delivery vehicle to the customer's location. Climbing up to five flights of stairs may be required during deliveries. The work conditions involve exposure to varying weather conditions during deliveries and driving.

Requirements

Ability to comprehend and give correct written instructions
Ability to communicate verbally with customers and co-workers to process orders both over the phone and in person
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide accurately and quickly (may use calculator)
Must be able to make correct monetary change
Verbal, writing, and telephone skills to take and process orders
Motor coordination between wywe and hands/fingers to rapidly and accurately make presice movements with speed
Ability to enter orders using a computer keyboard or touch screen
Valid Driver License with safe driving recor meeting company standards
Access to insured vehicle which can be used for delivery
Navigational skills to read a map, locate addresses within designated delivery area
Must navigate adverse terrain including multy-story buildings, private homes, and other delivery sites while carrying product
