About The Position

The Assistant Manager role involves a variety of operational duties within the store, including equipment operation, ingredient stocking, product preparation, order processing, inventory management, and facility cleaning. The position requires strong communication skills for interacting with customers and coworkers, both verbally and in writing. Essential functions include accurate mathematical calculations for monetary transactions, efficient order entry via computer or touch screen, and precise hand-eye coordination for various tasks. The work environment can involve exposure to varying temperatures, food odors, dust, cramped spaces, hot surfaces, sharp edges, and moving mechanical parts. Sensory requirements include talking and hearing on the telephone, near and mid-range vision, depth perception, and the ability to distinguish hot and cold surfaces. Temperaments suited for this role include the ability to direct activities, perform repetitive tasks, work independently and collaboratively, handle stress, meet quality standards, interact with people, analyze data, and make decisions. Physical demands include prolonged standing, walking, occasional sitting for paperwork, lifting and carrying items up to 60 pounds, pushing and pulling trays on dollies, infrequent climbing of stairs or ladders, stooping/bending at the waist, occasional crouching/squatting, and continuous reaching. Hand tasks require eye-hand coordination and may involve frequent and/or forceful use of hands, wrists, and forearms, as well as pinching, grasping, and manipulating tools and products. Team members may use various tools and equipment such as pencils, pens, computers, telephones, calculators, TDD equipment, pizza cutters, and pizza peels. Additionally, the role includes delivery responsibilities, requiring a valid driver's license, a safe driving record, access to an insured vehicle, and navigational skills to locate customer addresses. Delivery personnel must be able to navigate various terrains, including multi-story buildings, while carrying product. Physical demands for delivery include carrying product, driving within a designated area, walking to and from the vehicle and customer locations, and potentially climbing multiple flights of stairs. Work conditions during delivery involve exposure to varying weather conditions.

Requirements

Ability to comprehend and give correct written instructions
Ability to communicate verbally with customers and co-workers to process orders both over the phone and in person
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide accurately and quickly (may use calculator)
Must be able to make correct monetary change
Verbal, writing, and telephone skills to take and process orders
Motor coordination between wywe and hands/fingers to rapidly and accurately make presice movements with speed
Ability to enter orders using a computer keyboard or touch screen
Valid Driver License with safe driving record meeting company standards
Access to insured vehicle which can be used for delivery
Navigational skills to read a map, locate addresses within designated delivery area
Must navigate adverse terrain including multy-story buildings, private homes, and other delivery sites while carrying product
