About The Position
This role involves delivering products to customers, which includes driving to their location and taking the product to their door. Additionally, the role includes delivering flyers and door hangers. The job requires strong navigational skills to read maps, locate addresses within a designated delivery area, and navigate various terrains including multi-story buildings, private homes, and other delivery sites while carrying product. General store team member duties are also part of the role, such as operating equipment, stocking ingredients, preparing products, receiving and processing telephone orders, taking inventory, cleaning, and accurately handling monetary transactions. The ability to use a computer keyboard or touch screen for order entry is also necessary.
Requirements
- Must be 18 years of age.
- Must have a valid driver's license.
- Must have a safe driving record meeting company standards.
- Must have access to an insured vehicle which can be used for delivery.
- Possess navigational skills to read a map.
- Ability to locate addresses within designated delivery area.
- Ability to navigate adverse terrain including multi-story buildings.
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide accurately and quickly (may use calculator).
- Ability to make correct monetary change.
- Possess verbal, writing, and telephone skills to take and process orders.
- Possess motor coordination between eyes and hands/fingers to rapidly and accurately make precise movements with speed.
- Ability to enter orders using a computer keyboard or touch screen.
- Ability to deliver product by car and then to door of customer.
- Ability to deliver flyers and door hangers.
- Ability to navigate adverse terrain including multi-story buildings, private homes, and other delivery sites while carrying product.
Responsibilities
- Operate all equipment.
- Stock ingredients from delivery area to storage, work area, walk-in cooler.
- Prepare product.
- Receive and process telephone orders.
- Take inventory and complete associated paperwork.
- Clean equipment and facility approximately daily.
- Add, subtract, multiply, and divide accurately and quickly (may use calculator).
- Make correct monetary change.
- Use verbal, writing, and telephone skills to take and process orders.
- Demonstrate motor coordination between eyes and hands/fingers to rapidly and accurately make precise movements with speed.
- Enter orders using a computer keyboard or touch screen.
