About The Position
Domino’s is hiring a delivery driver to deliver products by car to customers within a designated delivery area. Drivers may make several deliveries per shift and may also deliver flyers and door hangers. The role includes navigating to customer addresses, including multi-story buildings and other delivery sites, and carrying products while walking or climbing stairs. Team members also perform general store duties, including operating equipment, stocking ingredients and supplies, preparing products, receiving and processing telephone orders, taking inventory, completing paperwork, and cleaning equipment and the facility. Orientation and training are provided on the job. The position offers a flexible schedule and opportunities for advancement.
Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years old.
- Must have a valid driver’s license and a safe driving record meeting company standards.
- Must have access to an insured vehicle that can be used for delivery.
- Must have navigational skills to read a map and locate addresses within the designated delivery area.
- Must be able to navigate adverse terrain, including multi-story buildings, private homes, and other delivery sites.
- Ability to comprehend and give correct written instructions.
- Ability to communicate verbally with customers and co-workers by phone and in person.
- Ability to perform basic arithmetic accurately and quickly and make correct monetary change.
- Verbal, writing, and telephone skills to take and process orders.
- Ability to enter orders using a computer keyboard or touch screen.
- Ability to work alone and with others, perform repetitive tasks, work under stress, and meet quality standards.
- Ability to meet the listed physical demands, including standing, walking, lifting, carrying, pushing, climbing, bending, crouching, and reaching.
Responsibilities
- Deliver products by car to customers within the designated delivery area.
- Deliver flyers and door hangers.
- Read maps and locate addresses; navigate delivery locations, including adverse terrain and multi-story buildings.
- Carry pizzas and beverages between the store, vehicle, and customer locations.
- Operate store equipment and stock ingredients and supplies.
- Prepare products and receive and process telephone orders.
- Take inventory and complete associated paperwork.
- Clean equipment and the facility approximately daily.
