About The Position

Domino’s is seeking delivery drivers to staff local stores. The role offers a flexible schedule and opportunities for growth, including advancement into management and franchise ownership. Drivers deliver products by car and to customers’ doors within a designated delivery area, and may also deliver flyers and door hangers. Team members receive on-the-job orientation and training. Drivers also perform general store duties, including operating equipment, stocking ingredients, preparing products, processing telephone orders, taking inventory, completing paperwork, and cleaning equipment and the facility. The role involves communicating with customers and co-workers, using computers or touch screens to enter orders, handling money, and navigating delivery locations and sometimes adverse terrain. Work can involve exposure to varying weather, hot and cold temperatures, food odors, cornmeal dust, cramped spaces, hot surfaces, sharp edges, and moving mechanical parts. Physical activities include standing, walking, lifting and carrying supplies and deliveries, pushing or pulling trays, climbing stairs, bending, crouching, and reaching.

Requirements

Must be at least 18 years of age.
Valid driver’s license with a safe driving record meeting company standards.
Access to an insured vehicle that can be used for delivery.
Navigational skills to read a map and locate addresses within the designated delivery area.
Ability to navigate adverse terrain, including multi-story buildings.
Ability to comprehend and give correct written instructions.
Ability to communicate verbally with customers and co-workers to process orders by phone and in person.
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide accurately and quickly; a calculator may be used.
Ability to make correct monetary change.
Verbal, writing, and telephone skills to take and process orders.
Motor coordination between eyes and hands or fingers to make precise movements rapidly and accurately.
Ability to travel between the store, delivery vehicle, and customer locations, including carrying products.
Ability to perform repetitive tasks, work alone and with others, work under stress, meet quality standards, deal with people, analyze and compile data, and make judgments and decisions.

Responsibilities

Deliver products by car and to customers’ doors within a designated delivery area.
Deliver flyers and door hangers.
Operate store equipment.
Stock ingredients from the delivery area to storage, work areas, and the walk-in cooler.
Prepare products.
Receive and process telephone orders.
Take inventory and complete associated paperwork.
Clean equipment and the facility approximately daily.
Use a computer keyboard or touch screen to enter orders and handle customer orders by phone and in person.
Navigate to delivery addresses, including locations with adverse terrain or multiple stories.
