About The Position

The Delivery Driver delivers products safely and courteously while following traffic laws, company safety procedures, and company standards. The role also supports store operations, including answering phones, helping prepare pizzas and other food, stocking supplies, cleaning, and completing other maintenance assigned by the manager in charge. Drivers must maintain a positive image, handle customer concerns congenially, and help impress and satisfy customers.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Must have a valid driver's license and a safe driving record meeting company standards.
• Must have a safe, well-maintained vehicle with proper insurance coverage.
• Must have two years of driving experience.
• Must have a clean vehicle and a good personal image meeting company standards.
• Must be able to read a map, clean, speak English, make change, and answer phones.
• Must have a positive attitude.

Responsibilities

• Deliver products to customers safely and courteously, obeying traffic laws and wearing a seat belt while driving.
• Complete the company-approved safe delivery program.
• Know the delivery area and make a cash drop after every delivery; never leave for a delivery carrying more than $20.00.
• Project a positive image to customers and observe company policies and standards.
• Prepare necessary delivery equipment before starting, including a full tank of gas, full uniform, and a cartop that is lit after dark; ensure the vehicle is safe and well maintained.
• Notify the safety hotline and the owner and/or supervisor if pressured to drive unsafely.
• Maintain a good driving record and immediately inform the manager of changes to the record.
• Handle customer concerns with grace and congeniality and work to impress, delight, and satisfy customers.
• Read a map.
• Assist with store operations, including answering phones on the first ring, helping make pizzas, preparing food for the makeline, stocking the makeline and soda cooler, folding boxes, preparing box-top and door-hanger coupons, washing surfaces, sweeping and mopping floors, and other maintenance as directed by the manager in charge.
• Maintain company image standards.

Benefits

• Drivers earn $15 to $20 per hour, including hourly wage, mileage, and tips.
