About The Position

Delivery Drivers greet walk-in customers, take delivery and carryout orders by phone, clean, and make deliveries. Drivers are expected to be hard-working, personable, friendly, punctual, and able to multitask. Training and orientation are provided on the job, including making deliveries with the store’s Certified Delivery Trainer. The role involves communicating with customers and coworkers in person and by phone, processing orders on a touchscreen computer system, handling payments, and navigating to delivery addresses. Drivers may need to run, jog, or speed-walk to and from their cars and carry products across varied terrain, including multi-story buildings and private homes.

Requirements

• At least 18 years old.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Valid auto insurance.
• A working vehicle.
• Good driving record.
• Ability to communicate verbally with customers and coworkers in person and by phone.
• Clear, upbeat speaking voice when communicating with customers by phone and at the door.
• Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide accurately and quickly, and make correct monetary change.
• Verbal, writing, and telephone skills to take and process orders.
• Motor coordination between eyes and hands/fingers to make precise movements rapidly and accurately.
• Ability to read maps and locate addresses within the designated delivery area.
• Ability to navigate varied terrain while carrying products.
• Hard-working, personable, friendly, punctual, and able to multitask.
• Able to run, jog, or speed-walk to and from the car on deliveries.
