Delivery Driver (PRN/As Needed)
About The Position
R-Dent Dental Lab is seeking a friendly PRN (as needed) delivery driver to transport dental products such as crowns, bridges, and dentures to customers within the Greater Memphis area, including parts of Tennessee, Arkansas, and Mississippi. This role involves filling in for regular drivers, primarily on Mondays and Fridays, with routes typically running from 7:00 AM until completion (approximately 3:30 PM - 6:00 PM). The position is expected to average 8-24 hours per month. Drivers are considered the face of the company and are expected to provide a high level of customer service. A company car and cell phone will be provided for deliveries and communication. No overnight travel is required, and routes are designed to be completed within an 8-hour timeframe.
Requirements
- Have a current Driver's License.
- Be familiar with local roads and able to use safely a map or GPS to navigate unfamiliar areas.
Responsibilities
- Be courteous, friendly, and helpful to all customers at all times.
- Drive safely at all times & follow all traffic laws.
- Deliver correct dental products to customers on time.
- Keep your delivery vehicle clean and notify Manager of any scheduled maintenance due or problems with the vehicle's performance.
- Exercise good judgement and problem-solving skills when making decisions on delivery times.
