Delivery Driver (PRN/As Needed)
About The Position
R-Dent Dental Lab is hiring a friendly PRN delivery driver to deliver dental products (eg crowns, bridges, dentures) to our customers as needed. The driver will fill in for other drivers as needed in the Greater Memphis area. Routes are from 7:00am- until job is done (approximately 3:30pm-6:00pm). Our delivery drivers are the face of the company to our customers, so it is important that each driver give the highest level of customer service to each of our customers. The driver will use a company car and cell phone as means of communicating with the lab and customers.
Requirements
- Have a current Driver's License.
- Be familiar with local roads and able to use safely a map or GPS to navigate unfamiliar areas.
Responsibilities
- Be courteous, friendly, and helpful to all customers at all times.
- Drive safely at all times & follow all traffic laws.
- Deliver correct dental products to customers on time.
- Keep your delivery vehicle clean and notify Manager of any scheduled maintenance due or problems with the vehicle's performance.
- Exercise good judgement and problem-solving skills when making decisions on delivery times.
