About The Position

The Delivery Driver collects payments and coupons, checks products against quality standards, and delivers orders safely and promptly. Drivers use a personal vehicle and must ensure the vehicle passes mechanical and visual inspections. The role also includes promoting products and specials, providing customer service by phone and in person, and helping with store operations through cross-training in food preparation, opening and closing procedures, oven operation, and order packaging.

Requirements

Have a valid driver's license and a safe driving record that meets company standards.
Provide proof of liability insurance for yourself and your vehicle.
Have navigational skills to read maps and locate delivery addresses.
Speak and write clearly.
Be able to use a computer-based order-entry system.

Responsibilities

Collect cash and credit card payments and coupons for delivered items.
Read maps, determine directions, and locate delivery addresses.
Check products for accuracy against quality standards and carry out deliveries safely and promptly.
Ensure the delivery vehicle passes mechanical and visual inspections.
Maintain the company's grooming, uniform, and appearance standards.
Promote pizza products, specials, and promotions.
Complete cross-training in preparing products and ingredients, opening and closing procedures, operating the pizza oven, and boxing products for delivery or carryout.
Respond promptly to store phone lines and assist carryout customers.
Provide quality customer service to internal and external customers by phone and in person.
Deliver products and distribute flyers and door hangers using a personal vehicle.
Contribute to a teamwork-oriented, energetic, and fun atmosphere.
