About The Position

The Delivery Driver delivers pizzas within a designated area and provides customer service while on the road. The role also supports in-store operations, including preparing products, processing orders, stocking ingredients, taking inventory, and cleaning. Domino’s provides full training, and the position offers opportunities to take on other roles within the stores.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Friendly, positive attitude and strong customer service skills.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Reliable vehicle for deliveries.
• Proof of car insurance.
• Safe driving record meeting company standards.
• Navigational skills to read maps, locate addresses within the delivery area, and navigate adverse terrain, including multi-story buildings.
• Ability to comprehend and give correct written instructions.
• Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide accurately and quickly; a calculator may be used.
• Ability to make correct monetary change.
• Verbal, writing, and telephone skills for taking and processing orders.
• Motor coordination to make precise, rapid movements with speed.
• Ability to enter orders using a computer keyboard or touch screen.
• Ability to direct activities, perform repetitive tasks, work alone and with others, work under stress, meet quality-control standards, deal with people, analyze and compile data, and make judgments and decisions.
• Ability to perform the described physical tasks, including driving, standing, walking, lifting, carrying, pushing, climbing, bending, crouching, reaching, and continuous hand use.
• Ability to lift and unload deliveries weighing up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Deliver pizzas and beverages to customers within a designated delivery area.
• Operate all equipment.
• Stock ingredients from the delivery area to storage, work areas, and the walk-in cooler.
• Prepare products.
• Receive and process telephone orders.
• Take inventory and complete associated paperwork.
• Clean equipment and the facility approximately daily.
• Communicate with customers and co-workers to process orders by phone and in person.
• Assist with in-store tasks when not making deliveries.
