About The Position

The Delivery Driver operates equipment, stocks ingredients from the delivery area to storage and work areas, prepares products, and receives and processes telephone orders. The role includes taking inventory, completing associated paperwork, and cleaning equipment and the facility approximately daily. The driver delivers products by car to customers’ doors, distributes flyers and door hangers, and navigates to addresses within the designated delivery area. The work may involve adverse terrain, including multi-story buildings, private homes, and other delivery sites, while carrying products.

Requirements

• Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide accurately and quickly; a calculator may be used.
• Ability to make correct monetary change.
• Verbal, writing, and telephone skills for taking and processing orders.
• Motor coordination between eyes and hands or fingers to make precise movements rapidly and accurately.
• Ability to enter orders using a computer keyboard or touch screen.
• Ability to comprehend and give correct written instructions.
• Ability to communicate verbally with customers and co-workers to process orders by phone and in person.
• Navigational skills to read a map and locate addresses within the designated delivery area.
• Ability to navigate adverse terrain while carrying products.
