About The Position

Domino’s is hiring Delivery Drivers to deliver orders within the designated area and support in-store operations. Drivers must use their own insured, registered vehicle and meet the company’s age, license, and driving-history standards. The role includes customer service, order handling, food preparation, cleaning, and other team-member duties. Pay is $16.78 per hour, plus tips and mileage. Orientation and on-the-job training are provided. The position offers potential advancement opportunities, including management and franchise ownership.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Must have a valid driver's license and at least two years of licensed driving history in the United States, with documentation.
• Must have an unsuspended or uninterrupted driving history for at least 1.5 years during the last two years; the suspension cannot be at the start of that two-year period.
• Must meet the stated driving-record standards: no more than one violation and one at-fault accident in the last two years; no more than two violations and one at-fault accident in the last three years; no more than three violations in the last three years; and no more than one at-fault accident in the last three years.
• Must have no distracted-driving or inattentive-driving violations within the last three years and no serious violations within the last five years.
• Must have access to an insured vehicle, be listed as an insured driver on its insurance policy, and use a registered vehicle.
• Must have customer-service and navigation skills, including the ability to read a map, locate addresses, and navigate adverse terrain.
• Must be able to understand and give written instructions and communicate verbally with customers and coworkers.
• Must be able to handle basic arithmetic and make correct monetary change.
• Must have verbal, writing, and telephone skills to take and process orders.
• Must have motor coordination and the ability to enter orders using a computer keyboard or touch screen.
• Must be able to perform the physical tasks described, including standing, walking, lifting, carrying, pushing or pulling trays, climbing occasionally, bending, crouching, reaching, and continuous hand use.
• Must be able to work alone and with others, perform repetitive tasks, work under stress, meet quality standards, and make judgments and decisions.

Responsibilities

• Deliver orders to customers within the designated delivery area, navigating to addresses and through varied terrain, including multi-story buildings.
• Communicate with customers and coworkers in person and by telephone; receive and process telephone orders.
• Help with food preparation and other in-store tasks.
• Operate equipment and stock ingredients and supplies in storage, work areas, and the walk-in cooler.
• Take inventory and complete associated paperwork.
• Clean equipment and the facility daily.
• Use a hand truck to unload bulk deliveries and move supplies.
• Keep the vehicle used for deliveries in safe operating condition and make it available for required periodic inspections.
