About The Position

The Delivery Driver delivers pizzas within a designated area and provides customer service while also assisting with in-store tasks. The role includes operating equipment, stocking ingredients, preparing products, processing telephone orders, taking inventory, completing paperwork, and cleaning equipment and the facility. Domino's provides training across delivery and in-store duties. The position involves working independently and with others, meeting quality standards, and handling changing work conditions and customer interactions.

Requirements

Be at least 18 years old.
Have a friendly, positive attitude and strong customer service skills.
Have a valid driver's license.
Have a reliable vehicle for deliveries.
Provide proof of car insurance.
Have a safe driving record that meets company standards.
Possess navigation skills to read maps, locate addresses in the designated delivery area, and navigate adverse terrain, including multi-story buildings.
Comprehend and provide correct written instructions.
Communicate verbally with customers and co-workers to process orders.
Add, subtract, multiply, and divide accurately and quickly, using a calculator if needed, and make correct monetary change.
Have verbal, writing, and telephone skills for taking and processing orders.
Have motor coordination to make precise, rapid movements with the eyes, hands, and fingers.
Be able to enter orders using a computer keyboard or touch screen.
Be able to perform repetitive tasks, work independently and with others, work under stress, meet quality standards, deal with people, analyze and compile data, and make judgments and decisions.
Be able to stand, walk, drive, carry, push, pull, stoop, bend, crouch, squat, reach, and climb stairs as required.
Be able to handle cases weighing up to 50 pounds and navigate five or more flights of stairs when required.

Responsibilities

Deliver pizzas within a designated delivery area.
Operate all equipment.
Stock ingredients from the delivery area to storage, work areas, and the walk-in cooler.
Prepare products.
Receive and process telephone orders.
Take inventory and complete associated paperwork.
Clean equipment and the facility approximately daily.
Communicate with customers and co-workers to process orders by phone and in person.
Carry products and supplies, and unload bulk deliveries using a hand truck.
Assist with other in-store tasks as needed.
