About The Position

A Domino’s Delivery Driver delivers orders within a designated delivery area and also assists with in-store work. The role includes customer service, operating store equipment, preparing products, taking and processing orders, stocking ingredients, taking inventory, completing paperwork, and cleaning. Domino’s provides training for delivery and in-store tasks. The position may offer opportunities to advance into management or franchise ownership.

Requirements

• At least 18 years old.
• Friendly, positive attitude and great customer service skills.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Reliable vehicle for deliveries.
• Proof of car insurance.
• Safe driving record meeting company standards.
• Navigational skills to read a map, locate addresses within the designated delivery area, and navigate adverse terrain, including multi-story buildings.
• Ability to comprehend and give correct written instructions.
• Ability to communicate verbally with customers and coworkers.
• Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide accurately and quickly; a calculator may be used.
• Ability to make correct monetary change.
• Verbal, writing, and telephone skills to take and process orders.
• Motor coordination between eyes and hands/fingers to make precise movements rapidly and accurately.
• Ability to direct activities, perform repetitive tasks, work alone and with others, work under stress, meet strict quality control standards, deal with people, analyze and compile data, and make judgments and decisions.
• Ability to lift and handle cases weighing up to 50 pounds, carry products and supplies, and perform the physical tasks described in the posting.

Responsibilities

• Deliver pizzas within a designated delivery area and provide customer service.
• Operate all equipment.
• Stock ingredients from the delivery area to storage, work areas, and the walk-in cooler.
• Prepare products.
• Receive and process telephone orders.
• Take inventory and complete associated paperwork.
• Clean equipment and the facility approximately daily.
• Communicate with customers and coworkers to process orders in person and over the phone.
• Use a computer keyboard or touch screen to enter orders.
• Unload ingredient and supply deliveries using a hand truck.
• Carry pizzas, beverages, ingredients, and supplies; push or pull trays; and navigate stairs as required.
• Perform outside tasks, including driving and couponing.
