About The Position

The Delivery Driver safely and promptly delivers products or flyers within a designated area, provides exceptional customer service, and helps with in-store tasks when not making deliveries. The role requires use of a personal insured and registered vehicle in proper working condition, along with safe navigation of delivery routes and sites, including adverse terrain and multi-story buildings. The position also involves store duties such as taking and processing orders, preparing products, stocking ingredients, operating equipment, and cleaning.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Must have a valid driver's license and a safe driving record meeting company standards.
• Must have three or fewer moving violations in the last three years.
• Must not have had a drug- or alcohol-related motor vehicle violation in the last five years.
• Must have access to reliable transportation and an insured, registered vehicle in proper working condition for deliveries.
• Must be able to read maps and locate addresses within the delivery area.
• Must have customer service, verbal, written, and telephone communication skills.
• Must be able to perform basic arithmetic and make correct monetary change.
• Must be able to enter orders using a computer keyboard or touch screen and operate store equipment.
• Must be able to perform the listed physical tasks, including standing, walking, carrying, lifting, reaching, and occasional stair climbing.

Responsibilities

• Deliver products or flyers safely, securely, and on time within the designated delivery area.
• Navigate routes and delivery locations, including multi-story buildings and other challenging terrain, while carrying products.
• Help with in-store tasks when deliveries are not busy.
• Take and process orders by telephone and enter orders using a keyboard or touch screen.
• Prepare products, stock ingredients and supplies, receive deliveries, and operate store equipment.
• Clean equipment and the facility, generally on a daily basis.
• Provide customer service and communicate with customers and coworkers.
