About The Position

VAZ Restaurants, LLC., a growing Domino’s franchise with 29 locations, is hiring delivery drivers. Drivers deliver orders within a designated area and may also help with in-store duties such as food preparation and cleaning. On-the-job orientation and training are provided. The role offers opportunities for growth and advancement, including into management and franchise ownership. Pay is $16.00 per hour, plus tips and mileage. Drivers must be available to work weekends and holidays.

Requirements

Must be at least 18 years old.
Must have a valid U.S. driver's license and at least two years of licensed driving history in the United States, with documentation available.
Must have an unsuspended or uninterrupted driving history for at least 1.5 years during the last two years.
Driving record must meet the stated standards: no more than one violation and one at-fault accident in the last two years; no more than two violations and one at-fault accident in the last three years; no more than three violations in the last three years; and no more than one at-fault accident in the last three years.
No distracted or inattentive driving violations within the last three years and no serious violations within the last five years.
Must have access to a registered, insured vehicle and be listed on its insurance policy; the vehicle must meet safety standards.
Must be available to work weekends and holidays; this is mandatory.
Must have customer service, communication, telephone, and map-navigation skills.
Must be able to read and follow written instructions, process orders, make change, and perform basic arithmetic accurately.
Must be able to use a computer keyboard or touch screen and coordinate hand and eye movements for precise, repetitive tasks.
Must be able to navigate adverse terrain and delivery locations while carrying products.
Must be able to perform physical tasks including standing, walking, lifting and carrying supplies weighing up to 50 pounds, pushing or pulling trays, climbing stairs or ladders, bending, crouching, and reaching.
Must be able to work independently and with others, perform repetitive tasks, work under stress, meet quality standards, and make judgments and decisions.

Responsibilities

Deliver orders within the designated delivery area and navigate to customer addresses, including multi-story buildings and other delivery sites.
Provide customer service and communicate with customers and co-workers in person and by telephone.
Assist with in-store tasks, including food preparation and cleaning.
Operate equipment and stock ingredients and supplies in storage, work areas, and the walk-in cooler.
Receive and process telephone orders; enter orders using a computer keyboard or touch screen.
Take inventory and complete associated paperwork.
Clean equipment and the facility daily.
Unload and stock product deliveries using a hand truck, and move trays and supplies as needed.
Maintain a vehicle that meets safety requirements and participate in periodic delivery-vehicle inspections.
Work weekends and holidays as required.
