About The Position

Domino’s Pizza is hiring delivery drivers to deliver orders within a designated area. The role offers a flexible schedule and opportunities to grow within the company, including advancement to management or franchise ownership. Drivers also perform general store-team duties such as preparing products, processing orders, stocking ingredients, taking inventory, and cleaning equipment and facilities. Orientation and training are provided on the job. The position requires driving a personal insured vehicle, delivering products to customers, and navigating the delivery area, including adverse terrain and multi-story buildings. Team members may work both independently and with others and must meet quality standards while handling customer orders and other store responsibilities.

Requirements

Must be at least 18 years of age.
Must have a valid driver’s license and a safe driving record meeting company standards.
Must have access to an insured vehicle that can be used for delivery.
Must have navigational skills to read maps and locate addresses in the designated delivery area.
Must be able to navigate adverse terrain, including multi-story buildings, private homes, and other delivery sites.
Ability to comprehend and give correct written instructions and communicate verbally with customers and co-workers.
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide accurately and quickly, and make correct monetary change.
Verbal, writing, and telephone skills to take and process orders.
Ability to use a computer keyboard or touch screen to enter orders.
Ability to work independently and with others, perform repetitive tasks, work under stress, and meet quality-control standards.
Ability to stand for most tasks, walk short distances, and carry pizzas and beverages while walking and climbing.
Ability to lift and handle product deliveries weighing up to 50 pounds.
Ability to use hands continuously and perform precise, coordinated movements.
Far and night vision for driving; near and mid-range vision and depth perception for in-store tasks.
Ability to differentiate between hot and cold surfaces.

Responsibilities

Deliver products by car to customers’ doors within a designated delivery area.
Deliver flyers and door hangers.
Navigate to addresses using maps and travel through delivery sites, including multi-story buildings and adverse terrain.
Operate store equipment and stock ingredients from delivery areas into storage and work areas.
Prepare products and receive and process telephone orders.
Take inventory and complete associated paperwork.
Clean equipment and the facility approximately daily.
Communicate with customers and co-workers to process orders by phone and in person.
Carry pizzas and beverages during deliveries and travel between the store, vehicle, and customer locations.
