About The Position

Domino’s Pizza is hiring Delivery Experts to deliver products within a designated delivery area. Drivers use their own reliable, insured vehicles and receive mileage reimbursement for fuel and other vehicle-related expenses. Tips and mileage reimbursement are paid daily, while hourly wages are paid every other Friday. Drivers typically average over $20 per hour including wages, tips, and mileage reimbursement; this is an estimate, not a stated base salary. Drivers can choose flexible short or long shifts, with part-time and full-time hours available. The role uses technology to support safe and efficient deliveries and may offer promotional opportunities such as Shift Lead, Assistant Manager, and General Manager.

The work also includes in-store tasks and requires customer service, safe driving, navigation, and the ability to work independently and with others. Duties involve carrying pizzas and beverages, walking and climbing at customer locations, and performing repetitive tasks at the pizza assembly station, front counter, and other work areas. The role may require navigating adverse terrain and more than five flights of stairs.

Working conditions include exposure to changing and adverse weather, temperature changes, food odors and cornmeal dust, compact work areas, hot surfaces and tools, sharp edges, and moving mechanical parts. Physical demands include frequent reaching and hand use, bending, occasional crouching, and driving, as well as talking and hearing on the telephone and vision for in-store tasks and nighttime driving.

This position is at a store owned and operated by an independent franchisee. The franchisee is the employer and independently handles employment decisions, policies, compensation, benefits, staffing, and scheduling.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Must pass a background check and have a valid driver’s license with a safe driving record, subject to review of the Motor Vehicle Report.
• Must have at least one year of verifiable driving history.
• Must have a reliable vehicle and valid insurance.
• Must possess good navigational skills and be able to read and follow maps and locate addresses within the delivery area.
• Must be able to navigate adverse terrain, including multi-story buildings.
• Must be able to follow directives, perform repetitive tasks, work alone and with others, and work well under stress.
• Must meet strict quality-control standards and provide excellent customer service.
• Must be able to analyze and compile data and make good judgments and decisions.
• Must be able to meet the physical demands of the role, including walking, carrying, climbing, driving, bending, reaching, and frequent hand use.

Responsibilities

• Deliver pizzas, beverages, and other products safely within the designated delivery area.
• Use safe driving practices and make multiple deliveries during a shift as needed.
• Navigate to customer addresses using maps and navigational skills, including adverse terrain and multi-story buildings.
• Carry products while walking and climbing between the store, vehicle, and customer locations.

• Work independently and collaboratively while completing repetitive tasks and making sound judgments.
