About The Position

Delivery Drivers deliver products by car to customers’ doors and distribute flyers and door hangers. The role also includes general store team-member duties, such as operating equipment, stocking ingredients, preparing products, receiving and processing telephone orders, taking inventory, completing paperwork, and cleaning equipment and the facility. On-the-job orientation and training are provided. Drivers may make several deliveries per shift and must navigate the designated delivery area, including adverse terrain and multi-story buildings.

Requirements

• Valid driver’s license with a safe driving record meeting company standards.
• Access to an insured vehicle that can be used for delivery.
• Navigational skills to read a map and locate addresses within the designated delivery area.
• Ability to navigate adverse terrain, including multi-story buildings, private homes, and other delivery sites, while carrying products.
• Ability to comprehend and give correct written instructions and communicate verbally with customers and co-workers in person and by telephone.
• Ability to perform basic arithmetic accurately and quickly, make correct monetary change, and use a calculator if needed.
• Verbal, writing, and telephone skills to take and process orders.
• Motor coordination to make rapid and precise movements and ability to enter orders using a computer keyboard or touch screen.
• Ability to perform the physical tasks described, including standing, walking, lifting and carrying deliveries and supplies, climbing stairs, and reaching.

Responsibilities
