About The Position

Domino's Pizza is hiring delivery drivers to deliver products within a designated delivery area. The role offers a flexible schedule and opportunities to advance to management or other positions. Drivers may deliver pizzas and beverages to customers, deliver flyers and door hangers, and perform general store team-member duties such as preparing products, processing orders, stocking ingredients, taking inventory, and cleaning equipment and the facility. On-the-job orientation and training are provided. The work includes driving and walking to customer locations, sometimes navigating adverse terrain and multi-story buildings. Store work may involve standing, walking, occasional sitting for paperwork, lifting and carrying supplies, pushing trays on dollies, climbing, bending, crouching, and frequent reaching and hand use. Working conditions may include varying weather, changing temperatures, food odors, cornmeal dust, cramped spaces, hot surfaces and tools, sharp edges, and moving mechanical parts.

Requirements

Must be at least 18 years of age.
Must have a valid driver's license and a safe driving record that meets company standards.
Must have access to an insured vehicle that can be used for delivery.
Must have navigational skills to read maps, locate addresses, and navigate adverse terrain, including multi-story buildings and other delivery sites.
Must be available to work at a minimum on Fridays and/or Saturdays from 5–8 p.m.
Ability to comprehend and give correct written instructions.
Ability to communicate verbally with customers and co-workers in person and over the phone.
Ability to perform basic arithmetic accurately and quickly and make correct monetary change.
Verbal, writing, and telephone skills to take and process orders.
Motor coordination to make precise movements rapidly and accurately.
Ability to perform repetitive tasks, work alone and with others, work under stress, meet quality standards, and make judgments and decisions.
Ability to carry pizzas and beverages while walking and climbing; navigate five or more flights of stairs may be required.
Ability to lift and handle supplies weighing up to 50 pounds.
Ability to stand for most tasks, walk short distances, and perform frequent reaching and hand tasks.
Ability to use a pizza peel, pizza cutter, and other work tools as needed.

Responsibilities

Deliver products by car and bring them to customers’ doors.
Deliver flyers and door hangers.
Operate store equipment and prepare products.
Stock ingredients and supplies from delivery areas to storage and work areas.
Receive and process telephone orders, including entering orders by computer keyboard or touch screen.
Take inventory and complete associated paperwork.
Clean equipment and the facility approximately daily.
Carry pizzas and beverages while walking and climbing during deliveries.
Unload bulk product deliveries using a hand truck and stock supplies.
Work with team members and customers to process orders.
