About The Position

La Provence/Petite Provence is a well-loved Portland based Restaurant and bakery inspired by the flavors and hospitality of France. We’re known for artisan breads, classic pastries, and scratch-made meals, and we’re looking for dependable, team-oriented individuals who take pride in quality, consistency, and great guest experiences. We are currently seeking a Delivery Driver. This is a Mid-Level position responsible for transporting our bakery and commissary goods to our other store locations and to our retail customers. The shift will be between the hours of 6pm to 2am and starts at our Sandy Boulevard location, loading product into our truck and then delivering and unloading the product to our locations and/or retail customers. The position can be part-time or full-time.

Requirements

• Minimum age – 21 years old
• Clean driving record - No Accidents or violations for 3 years
• A copy of your driving record must be obtained for company insurance
• Oregon Food Handlers card
• Ability to read, understand and speak English
• Strong attention to detail
• Ability to work independently
• Must be able to lift 55lbs. repetitively, and consistently
• Must have visual acuity
• Must be able to walk, speak, grasp, and carry constantly

Responsibilities

• Transport bakery and commissary goods to store locations and retail customers.
• Pack, organize, load, and unload delivery products.
• Account for all products before and after deliveries.
• Take the most efficient delivery routes, returning promptly to the Wholesale location for additional orders.
• Communicate with different departments within the establishment to achieve goals.
• Operate company vehicles in a safe manner in accordance with company policy and local laws.
• Be courteous on the roads, understanding your representation of the entire company – absolutely no cell phone usage while driving.
