About The Position

Domino’s Pizza is hiring delivery drivers to staff local stores. The position offers a flexible schedule and opportunities for advancement, including potential paths into management and franchise ownership. Drivers deliver products by car to customers’ doors and may also deliver flyers and door hangers. Team members may perform general store duties such as operating equipment, stocking ingredients, preparing products, processing telephone orders, taking inventory, completing paperwork, and cleaning equipment and the facility. On-the-job orientation and training are provided.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Must have a valid driver’s license and a safe driving record meeting company standards.
• Must have access to an insured vehicle that can be used for delivery.
• Must be able to read maps, locate addresses within the designated delivery area, and navigate adverse terrain, including multi-story buildings, private homes, and other delivery sites.
• Ability to comprehend and provide correct written instructions.
• Ability to communicate verbally with customers and co-workers by telephone and in person.
• Ability to perform basic arithmetic accurately and quickly and make correct monetary change.
• Verbal, writing, and telephone skills to take and process orders.
• Ability to enter orders using a computer keyboard or touch screen.
• Ability to stand for most tasks, walk short distances, and perform occasional stair or ladder climbing.
• Ability to lift and handle deliveries weighing up to 50 pounds and perform the described carrying, pushing, pulling, bending, crouching, reaching, and hand-use tasks.
• Ability to work alone and with others, perform repetitive tasks, work under stress, meet quality standards, deal with people, analyze and compile data, and make judgments and decisions.
• Ability to meet the position’s driving, walking, and climbing demands, which may include navigating five or more flights of stairs during delivery.
• Far vision and night vision for driving; talking and hearing on the telephone; near and mid-range vision and depth perception for in-store tasks; and ability to distinguish hot and cold surfaces.

Responsibilities

• Deliver products by car to customers’ doors within the designated delivery area.
• Deliver flyers and door hangers.
• Navigate to delivery addresses using maps and other navigational skills, including through adverse terrain and multi-story buildings.
• Operate store equipment and stock ingredients from the delivery area to storage and work areas.
• Prepare products and receive and process telephone orders.
• Take inventory and complete associated paperwork.
• Clean equipment and the facility approximately daily.
• Carry pizzas and beverages while walking and climbing during deliveries.
