About The Position

Domino’s is hiring a delivery driver to deliver orders within a designated area and support general store operations. Drivers need to locate addresses, navigate routes and terrain, and provide customer service while processing orders. Team members receive on-the-job orientation and training. The role offers a flexible schedule and opportunities to advance into management or other roles.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age.
• Have a valid driver’s license and a safe driving record that meets company standards.
• Have access to an insured vehicle that can be used for deliveries.
• Possess navigational skills to read maps and locate addresses within the delivery area, including navigating adverse terrain and multi-story buildings.
• Comprehend and provide correct written instructions, and communicate verbally with customers and coworkers.
• Perform basic arithmetic accurately and quickly, make correct monetary change, and use a calculator if needed.
• Have verbal, writing, and telephone skills to take and process orders.
• Have motor coordination to make precise movements quickly and accurately and enter orders using a keyboard or touch screen.
• Be able to stand for most tasks, walk short distances, sit to complete paperwork, and occasionally navigate stairs or climb a ladder.
• Be able to handle lifting and carrying tasks, including cases weighing up to 50 pounds, and push or pull trays on dollies.
• Be able to work alone and with others, perform repetitive tasks, work under stress, meet quality standards, deal with people, analyze and compile data, and make judgments and decisions.

Responsibilities

• Deliver orders within the designated delivery area and navigate to customer addresses.
• Operate store equipment and use a computer keyboard or touch screen to enter orders.
• Stock ingredients and supplies from delivery areas to storage, work areas, and the walk-in cooler.
• Prepare products.
• Receive and process telephone orders and communicate with customers and coworkers in person and by phone.
• Take inventory and complete associated paperwork.
• Clean equipment and the facility approximately daily.
• Unload bulk product deliveries using a hand truck and move supplies to storage.
• Perform outside tasks such as removing trash.
