About The Position

Domino’s Pizza is hiring a delivery driver to deliver products to customers within a designated delivery area. Drivers may make several deliveries per shift and may also deliver flyers and door hangers. The role includes store-team duties such as operating equipment, stocking ingredients, preparing products, receiving and processing telephone orders, taking inventory, completing paperwork, and cleaning equipment and the facility. On-the-job orientation and training are provided. The company describes opportunities for advancement from driver to management and potentially franchise ownership or corporate operations.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Valid driver’s license with a safe driving record meeting company standards.
• Access to an insured vehicle that can be used for delivery.
• Navigational skills to read a map and locate addresses within the designated delivery area.
• Ability to navigate adverse terrain, including multi-story buildings, private homes, and other delivery sites, while carrying products.
• Ability to comprehend and give correct written instructions.
• Verbal, writing, and telephone skills to take and process orders.
• Ability to perform basic arithmetic accurately and quickly and make correct monetary change.
• Ability to enter orders using a computer keyboard or touch screen.
• Ability to work alone and with others, perform repetitive tasks, work under stress, meet quality standards, and make judgments and decisions.
• Ability to meet the stated physical demands, including standing, walking, lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling, reaching, bending, and occasional climbing.

Responsibilities

• Deliver products by car to customers’ doors within a designated delivery area.
• Deliver flyers and door hangers.
• Navigate to addresses using maps and other navigational skills, including at multi-story buildings and other delivery sites.
• Carry pizzas and beverages while walking and climbing during deliveries.
• Operate store equipment and stock ingredients from delivery areas to storage, work areas, and the walk-in cooler.
• Prepare products and receive and process telephone orders.
• Take inventory and complete associated paperwork.
• Clean equipment and the facility approximately daily.
• Communicate with customers and coworkers to process orders by phone and in person.
