About The Position

The Delivery Driver delivers products by car to customers’ doors and may deliver flyers and door hangers. The role also performs general hourly store team-member duties, including operating equipment, stocking ingredients, preparing products, receiving and processing telephone orders, taking inventory, completing paperwork, and cleaning equipment and the facility. Orientation and training are provided on the job. The position pays $17.13 per hour, plus mileage and tips; cash tips are paid daily. Paid sick leave is provided under Washington State law. Requirements

Valid driver's license and a safe driving record meeting company standards.
Access to an insured vehicle that can be used for deliveries.
Navigational skills, including the ability to read a map and locate addresses within the designated delivery area.
Ability to navigate adverse terrain and delivery sites while carrying products.
Ability to comprehend and give correct written instructions and communicate verbally with customers and co-workers.
Ability to perform basic arithmetic accurately and quickly and make correct monetary change.
Verbal, writing, and telephone skills to take and process orders.
Motor coordination and eye-hand coordination to make precise movements and use a computer keyboard or touch screen.
Ability to work while standing, walk short distances, carry products, and climb stairs; delivery may involve five or more flights of stairs.
Ability to lift and stock cases weighing up to 50 pounds.
Ability to work alone and with others, perform repetitive tasks, work under stress, meet quality standards, and make judgments and decisions.

Responsibilities

Deliver products by car to customers’ doors within the designated delivery area.
Deliver flyers and door hangers.
Operate store equipment.
Stock ingredients from the delivery area into storage, work areas, and the walk-in cooler.
Prepare products.
Receive and process telephone orders and communicate with customers and co-workers.
Take inventory and complete associated paperwork.
Clean equipment and the facility approximately daily.
Navigate delivery locations, including multi-story buildings, private homes, and other delivery sites.
