About The Position

ATS Traffic is looking for a reliable and motivated team member to join our team as a Delivery Driver. This role is responsible for delivering and picking up equipment, including trailer-mounted traffic control equipment, across the Lower Mainland. You will play a key role in ensuring equipment is delivered safely, on time, and in a professional manner while maintaining a strong customer experience. Delivery Drivers are responsible for transporting equipment to and from client sites, assisting with loading and unloading, and supporting overall branch operations. You will be responsible for delivering and picking up trailers and equipment from client sites, moving vehicles between branches, and ensuring all deliveries are completed efficiently. This role includes loading and unloading trucks, organizing delivery schedules, and entering trailer details and photos into company systems. You will maintain company vehicles in a clean and professional condition while representing ATS Traffic in a positive manner. You may also assist other departments, including warehouse, repairs, and On Street Services, as required.

Requirements

  • A valid Class 5 driver’s license with a clean driving abstract is required.
  • Ability to drive vehicles ranging from half-ton trucks to 5-ton trucks.
  • Ability to tow and back up trailers is required.
  • Must be able to lift up to 75 lbs throughout the day.
  • Proficient computer skills, including data entry.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Strong customer service and communication skills.
  • Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently.
  • Must undergo and pass a pre-employment drug and alcohol screening and fit test.

Nice To Haves

  • Class 3 driver’s license is considered an asset.
  • Air brakes endorsement is considered an asset.
  • Experience towing trailers is considered an asset.
  • Forklift experience is an asset.
  • Experience in traffic control or construction industries is an asset.
