About The Position

Domino’s is hiring delivery drivers for local stores. The position offers flexible scheduling and opportunities for advancement, including into management and franchise ownership. Drivers deliver orders within a designated area and may also perform general store team-member duties, such as operating equipment, stocking ingredients, preparing products, processing orders, taking inventory, completing paperwork, and cleaning equipment and the facility. On-the-job orientation and training are provided. The role involves working in varying weather and store conditions and performing physical tasks such as standing, walking, lifting, carrying, pushing, and occasionally climbing stairs or a ladder.

Requirements

Must be at least 18 years of age.
Must have a valid driver's license and a safe driving record meeting company standards.
Must have access to an insured vehicle that can be used for delivery.
Must be able to read a map, locate addresses within the designated delivery area, and navigate adverse terrain, including multi-story buildings.
Ability to understand and give correct written instructions.
Ability to communicate verbally with customers and coworkers to process orders by phone and in person.
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide accurately and quickly, with a calculator if needed, and make correct monetary change.
Verbal, writing, and telephone skills to take and process orders.
Motor coordination to make precise, rapid movements with the eyes, hands, and fingers.
Ability to enter orders using a computer keyboard or touch screen.
Ability to perform repetitive tasks, work alone and with others, work under stress, meet quality standards, deal with people, analyze and compile data, and make judgments and decisions.
Ability to lift and stack cases weighing up to 50 pounds onto shelves up to 72 inches high.
Ability to carry items including pizza sauce weighing approximately 30 pounds and pizza-dough trays weighing approximately 12 pounds each.
Ability to stand for most tasks, walk short distances, push or pull loaded tray dollies, and occasionally climb stairs or a ladder.

Responsibilities

Deliver orders within the designated delivery area.
Operate store equipment.
Stock ingredients and supplies from the delivery area to storage and work areas, including the walk-in cooler.
Prepare products.
Receive and process telephone orders and communicate with customers and coworkers in person and by phone.
Take inventory and complete associated paperwork.
Clean equipment and the facility approximately daily.
Unload bulk product deliveries using a hand truck.
Move trays using dollies and occasionally pull trays.
Occasionally navigate stairs or climb a ladder for tasks such as changing sign prices, washing walls, or performing maintenance.
