About The Position

The Delivery Driver plans and completes daily delivery and pickup routes for glass, loading and unloading the delivery vehicle and assisting with handling glass throughout the route. The role also includes maintaining basic mileage and delivery records, ensuring the vehicle receives basic scheduled service, reporting larger service needs or mechanical issues to a supervisor, and assisting with general warehouse duties after completing the route. Drivers may work in hot or cold temperatures and various weather conditions. The schedule is Monday through Friday, 7 AM to 5 PM, or until the work is done. Pay is $18–$22 per hour, with quarterly safety bonus opportunities. This role is not open for submissions from outside staffing agencies. Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent.
C License.
Must be able to pass a 7-year Motor Vehicle Record (MVR).
Minimum 1–2 years of current or recent delivery truck driving experience.
Must be able to lift 75 pounds unassisted.
Must be able to work in hot or cold temperatures and various weather conditions.
Ability to use navigation tools such as onboard GPS, smartphone apps, web-based maps, or physical maps.
Ability to plan delivery routes and maintain basic logs and records.
Ability to remain professional and courteous.
Must pass a drug test and background check.

Responsibilities

Plan and complete an efficient daily delivery and pickup route.
Load the delivery vehicle with glass scheduled for delivery.
Deliver glass to the correct addresses and obtain signatures or proof of receipt when necessary.
Pick up glass along the scheduled route, including returns, company orders, and other requested items.
Maintain basic records of truck mileage and deliveries.
Ensure the delivery vehicle receives basic service according to its maintenance schedule and report larger service needs or mechanical issues to a supervisor.
Assist with general warehouse duties after completing the delivery route.
Load and unload before, during, and after delivery routes.
Perform other related duties as assigned.
