About The Position

Domino’s Pizza is hiring delivery drivers to deliver products within a designated area. The role offers a flexible schedule and opportunities for advancement, including potential growth into management or franchise ownership. On-the-job orientation and training are provided. In addition to delivery work, team members perform general store duties such as operating equipment, stocking ingredients, preparing products, processing orders, taking inventory, completing paperwork, and cleaning equipment and the facility. Delivery drivers use a car to deliver products to customers’ doors and may also deliver flyers and door hangers. The job involves working in a store and outdoors in varying weather and temperatures, navigating delivery sites that may include private homes, multi-story buildings, and stairs, and carrying products during deliveries. Physical tasks include standing, walking, lifting, carrying, pushing or pulling trays, climbing, bending, crouching, and reaching. Team members may lift cases weighing up to 50 pounds and carry pizzas and beverages during deliveries.

Requirements

Must be at least 18 years of age.
Valid driver’s license and a safe driving record meeting company standards.
Access to an insured vehicle that can be used for delivery.
Navigational skills to read a map and locate addresses within the designated delivery area.
Ability to navigate adverse terrain, including multi-story buildings and stairs.
Ability to comprehend and give correct written instructions and communicate verbally with customers and co-workers.
Ability to perform basic arithmetic accurately and quickly, and make correct monetary change.
Verbal, writing, and telephone skills to take and process orders.
Motor coordination to make rapid, accurate movements and ability to enter orders using a computer keyboard or touch screen.
Ability to perform the physical duties described, including standing, walking, lifting, carrying, pushing or pulling, climbing, bending, crouching, and reaching.
Ability to work alone and with others, perform repetitive tasks, work under stress, meet quality standards, and make judgments and decisions.

Responsibilities

Deliver products by car within a designated delivery area and bring them to customers’ doors.
Deliver flyers and door hangers.
Read maps, locate addresses, and navigate delivery sites, including adverse terrain and multi-story buildings.
Operate store equipment; stock ingredients; prepare products; receive and process telephone orders; take inventory; complete paperwork; and clean equipment and the facility.
Communicate with customers and co-workers to process orders in person and over the phone.
Use a computer keyboard or touch screen to enter orders and handle monetary change accurately.
